Short Story and Poetry Contest

We here at Better Read than Dead love to help and recognize developing writers and up-and-comers. This is your chance to become a part of our blog!

We’re conducting a contest! All are welcome to enter original short stories (up to around 5,000 words max please!) and poems. The subject is fully up to your discretion, and there is no submission limit. We’ll be choosing our favorite and posting it right here to our blog, with links on our instagram, twitter, tumblr, pinterest, and google plus!

Please include the name you’d like us to publish if you win, or if you’d like it to be anonymous make sure you tell us.

All submissions will get feedback from both editors at the time of the submission, but winner will not be announced until August 1.

Specifications:

• Have a Title

• Preferably less than 5,000 words

• Enter Name, Pseudonym, or Anonymous

• If you’d like us to tag you on social media if you win, please include your handles in your submission email.
